About This Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong leader who can drive business growth and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a Specialty Sales Team Leader at Target, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales consultants to achieve sales goals and provide outstanding service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate about our products and services.
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales goals.
  • Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences: Ensure that every guest interaction is positive and memorable, and that our guests feel valued and appreciated.
  • Manage Inventory and Merchandise: Oversee the receipt, storage, and display of merchandise, and ensure that our stores are well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other teams, such as marketing and operations, to drive business results and achieve company goals.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in a retail or sales environment.
  • Sales and Business Acumen: Strong understanding of sales principles and business operations, and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Guest Service Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to creating a positive and welcoming store environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, guests, and other stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, and to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
