Key Responsibilities:

  • Development of engineering SOP's using manufacturing engineer practices.
  • Participation in concurrent evaluation and quality assurance design reviews.
  • Evaluation and approval of drawings, routings, specs, and other documents.
  • Design and procurement of tools/equipment.
  • Identification, evaluation, and resolution of production problems.
  • Leadership of training for assemblers to improve and introduce new processes.
  • Preparation and manufacture of prototypes as required, utilizing the principles of concurrent engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineer, or related fields.
  • 3-5 years' experience.
  • Fluency with Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management, problem prevention, and solving skills.
  • MRP Systems experience preferred.
  • Experience in metal fabrication, welding, and topcoat applications preferred.
