Job Overview

IMMI is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Welders to become part of our workforce. As a MIG Welder in our production team, you will be responsible for welding components that are essential to our commitment to safety. Success in this role requires ensuring high-quality welding while adhering to safety protocols and standards.

WORKING HOURS: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm OR 5:00pm - 3:30am

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Execute welding tasks in accordance with established work instructions, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Oversee the welding, burning, and fitting processes to prevent overheating or damage to parts.
  • Meet daily production targets and communicate any issues or delays promptly to relevant personnel.
  • Provide assistance at various workstations throughout the production process as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior welding experience complemented by relevant education.
  • Ability to comprehend and apply both written and verbal instructions.
  • Capable of collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Consistent punctuality and attendance.
  • Adherence to legal and corporate responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • This role is deadline-driven, necessitating multitasking and adaptability to changing schedules.
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception capabilities.
  • Involves interaction with others, necessitating effective listening, clear communication, and attention to detail.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, balancing, bending, reaching, walking, lifting, and performing repetitive motions.
  • Continuous movement throughout the day, utilizing tools and equipment, and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory, including eyewear, steel-toed shoes, hard hats, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Work may involve exposure to potentially hazardous equipment and varying temperature conditions.
