Production Welder

IMMI is seeking enthusiastic and skilled Welders to become part of our dedicated team. As a Production MIG Welder, your role will involve welding components that are essential to our commitment to enhancing safety for individuals. Success in this position requires ensuring high-quality and timely welding while adhering to the safety protocols mandated for welding operations.

Our safety products are utilized worldwide across various vehicles, including car seats, heavy trucks, school buses, recreational vehicles, military transport, fire/EMS, motor coaches, and construction machinery.
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Thursday 6:30am - 5:00pm OR 5:00pm - 3:30am
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute welding tasks in accordance with established work instructions while ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Oversee the welding, burning, and fitting processes to prevent overheating or damage to parts due to warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.
- Meet daily production targets and communicate promptly with relevant personnel regarding any issues or delays.
- Provide assistance at various workstations throughout the production process as required.
- Prior welding experience supported by relevant education.
- Ability to comprehend and apply both written and verbal instructions.
- Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment and communicating effectively.
- Consistent punctuality and reliability in attendance.
- Adherence to legal and corporate responsibilities is essential.
- This role is deadline-driven, necessitating multitasking, adaptability to fluctuating schedules, and flexibility throughout the workday.
- Close vision, distance vision, and depth perception are required.
- Interaction with colleagues is essential, requiring effective listening, clear communication, attention to detail, and focused work performance.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, balancing, bending, reaching, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs), and other repetitive motions.
- Proper attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory, which may include eyewear, steel-toed shoes, hard hats, gloves, and hearing protection.
