Job Summary

Rose International is seeking a highly skilled Training Officer to join our team. As a Training Officer, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing comprehensive training curriculums that meet the needs of our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to plan and deliver training curriculums.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and confer with agency staff and subject matter experts to determine training needs.
  • Develop or modify training materials based on defined objectives, participant needs, and delivery method.
  • Apply principles of adult learning to create an optimal learning environment.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to facilitate employee learning and development.
  • Develop surveys, tests, and other tools for evaluating courses and participants' learning.
  • Participate in course-specific train-the-trainer programs as necessary.
  • Coordinate activities for events such as conferences, seminars, and workshops.
  • Organize event schedules and reserve sites, equipment, and other needed accommodations.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience equivalent to two years of full-time professional work in academic teaching, educational administration, or workforce development.
  • Substitution of education for experience: additional graduate coursework in human resources management, industrial/organizational psychology, or curriculum and instruction.
  • Substitution of experience for education: any teaching or training experience, or any remaining professional experience.
