Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Logistics Biomedical to join our team at NavitsPartners. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient coordination and management of healthcare technology equipment, including inventory management, receiving, and handling of biomedical equipment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in logistics and inventory management, as well as the physical ability to move hospital beds and similar heavy equipment across buildings. The role involves collaborating with different departments to streamline incoming inspections and meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of biomedical equipment inventory, including new acquisitions, movement between buildings, and storage updates.
  • Oversee the receipt of new biomedical equipment and ensure it is checked against purchase orders and departmental needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate incoming equipment inspections with operational managers, ensuring that all equipment meets operational and regulatory standards before being put into use.
  • Move large equipment, including hospital beds, between buildings and ensure proper placement and setup.
  • Assist in setting up biomedical equipment as needed and provide initial troubleshooting support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years of equivalent experience in logistics, inventory management, or a related field.
  • Experience in inventory management and receiving within a healthcare setting or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with biomedical equipment management and logistics is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating with different departments and operational managers for equipment handling.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to lift and move heavy biomedical equipment, including hospital beds, and maneuver them between locations.
  • Strong focus on accuracy in inventory management and equipment inspections.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to coordinate with various departments and ensure efficient operations.
  • Strong organizational skills to handle multiple incoming shipments and inspections concurrently.

Dress Code:

  • Jeans or khakis.
  • Collared shirt.
  • Protective toe work boots are required due to the physical nature of the job.
