Key Responsibilities:


PRIMARY DUTIES:
Nucor is in search of skilled candidates for the role of Financial Recruitment Specialist.

As a vital member of the Talent Acquisition Team, the Financial Recruitment Specialist will implement strategies to discover, engage, and attract exceptional talent to Nucor.

This position will emphasize establishing strategic alliances and recruiting from targeted college campuses and organizations.

The responsibilities of the Financial Recruitment Specialist will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Develop, execute, and oversee recruitment initiatives on college campuses aligned with Nucor's talent branding to support the company's vision and strategic hiring goals.
  • Concentrate on candidate management, tracking applications, coordinating events, and maintaining communication with applicants.
  • Foster relationships on designated college campuses with key stakeholders and prospective candidates.
  • Participate in college career fairs to engage with students and potential candidates to promote internship and full-time employment opportunities.
  • Collect best practices through various channels such as career services, foundations, and relevant external events/conferences to identify and evaluate talent.
  • Enhance and sustain partnerships with universities, student organizations, recruitment networks, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with finance talent and recruitment teams to support all recruitment activities, including new college graduate hiring, accounting, and finance interns, along with data collection.
This role will necessitate frequent travel and may be based at Corporate or a division.

Safety is paramount in all positions at Nucor; therefore, candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards consistently.



Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree
2+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment and meeting projected hiring needs.
  • Experience in sourcing talent from job boards such as LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in Accounting or Finance.
