Position Overview

The Recruitment Compliance Specialist plays a vital role in upholding the integrity of Compass Group's background verification and I-9 & E-Verify procedures. This position is essential for ensuring the company's compliance with onboarding and regulatory standards.

As a member of the Recruitment team, you will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including managers, Human Resources professionals, and candidates, to streamline effective employment screening processes.

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager and Senior Director, you will manage background check evaluations, screening administration, case management, and provide assistance to both internal and external clients.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to established background verification protocols to ensure compliance with policies and regulations
  • Respond to inquiries from managers and HR associates through phone and ticketing systems
  • Evaluate background check results and documentation to assess eligibility
  • Manage the distribution of necessary adverse action notifications
  • Assist in navigating the electronic I-9 system and offer guidance to managers
  • Document and oversee all customer interactions through a designated system
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience
  • Strong customer service, communication, and analytical skills
  • 1-3 years of experience in HR Generalist/HR Analyst roles
  • Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency in Access and Excel
  • Attention to detail and effective time management abilities
