About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Virtually Integrated Care Nurse to join our team at Dignity Health. As a key member of our interprofessional care team, you will provide 24/7 virtual access to highly experienced RNs for patients and the bedside care team.

Responsibilities
  • Advance professional practice by providing vital support in a proactive manner to the interprofessional bedside team and the patient/family using virtual technology.
  • Enhance the patient experience and ensure each patient receives the highest level of care.
  • Positively impact the staff experience and improve morale by assisting with essential nursing functions to unburden the workload of the frontline care teams.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary patient care teams, provide guidance and mentorship, and lead the plan of care to deliver exceptional outcomes for patients.
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills, a positive attitude, and knowledge of various diagnoses and situations ranging from minor to critical to provide expert support to the bedside care team.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3+ years of recent experience as licensed nurse in acute care.
  • Knowledge and ability to facilitate patient care across the continuum.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of use of EMR.
  • Ability to use multiple technologies; audio/visual.
  • Bachelor's Degree - BSN degree.
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Required within 6 months if applicable).
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
