Nursing Care Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Maricopa Integrated Health System. As a nursing care coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing professional, age-specific nursing care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
Under the general supervision of a registered nurse, you will perform patient-related tasks, including direct patient care, vital signs, daily ADLs, clinical procedures, and other tasks as requested. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to communicate patient needs and observe/report changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse or physician while documenting all interactions in the patient's medical record.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience. Bilingual proficiency is preferred, and the ability to work with culturally diverse people is essential. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
This is a full-time position with an estimated hourly pay rate of $24.00. To be eligible for this role, you must have licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant and obtain a BLS card through an approved American Heart Association training center within three months.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional, age-specific nursing care to patients in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare disciplines
- Perform patient-related tasks, including direct patient care, vital signs, daily ADLs, clinical procedures, and other tasks as requested
- Communicate patient needs and observe/report changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse or physician
- Document all interactions in the patient's medical record
- Floating to all departments as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of relevant nursing assistant or healthcare-related experience
- Licensure through the AZ Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant
- BLS card through an approved American Heart Association training center within three months
