Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Revenue Recognition Department
  • Formulate and maintain Revenue Recognition Policies in accordance with ASC 606
  • Work closely with Corporate Legal on contract evaluations
  • Prepare SEC disclosures utilizing the Wdesk platform
  • Serve as the technical accounting authority on Revenue Recognition and ASC 606
  • Support the enhancement of SOX internal controls

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
  • Understanding of SEC reporting, US GAAP, and PCAOB standards
  • Experience in a Managing General Agent (MGA) environment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with SOX internal controls
