About the Role

Anvilogic Inc is seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Finance and Accounting to join our leadership team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving strategic, operational, and financial decisions that will impact the overall trajectory of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting to and partnering with the CEO to drive business success.
  • Collaborating with the VP of Sales & CEO on sales/revenue tracking and management, including the development and execution of go-to-market strategies.
  • Planning compensation and commission structures to align with go-to-market objectives and sales targets.
  • Developing pricing and discounting strategies.
  • Overseeing the review and management of contracts.
  • Providing support in HR functions.
  • Diving deep, planning, and executing on projects across the organization to drive business improvements both in the marketplace and internally.
  • Collaborating with various teams, including product, sales, and strategy and operations, to ensure financial strategies align with company objectives.
  • Maintaining a pulse on the markets, public and private, to track how the company is performing relative to its comps and also to stay in front of potential corporate development opportunities that could accelerate strategic objectives.
  • Communicating, engaging, and interacting with broader leadership team and company Board of Directors to formulate and achieve strategic goals.
  • Managing members of the broader finance and accounting team.
  • Providing ongoing mentorship, training, and development of direct and indirect reports.
  • Providing thought leadership on major initiatives directed at driving cost efficiencies in support of long-term planning.
  • Bringing new thinking and ways of doing things to the function, as appropriate, including analyzing and pushing new metrics and performance indicators to help identify trends.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and ASC 606.
  • Creating a financial backbone and roadmap that enables our continued hypergrowth.
  • Serving as a member of the leadership team. Continually partnering cross-functionally to formulate and achieve our strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Been VP or Head of Finance at SaaS startups in the $10M-$50M ARR range.
  • Demonstrated command of SaaS metrics, KPIs, and business fundamentals.
  • Superior analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to deconstruct complex problems, and drive to a data-driven solution.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
  • Relentless sense of ownership, curiosity, and initiative.
  • Experience scaling the finance and accounting team of a high growth business.
