Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Raute Group. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the purchase process, including sourcing, cost analysis, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase Order Management: Initiate and manage purchase orders in our ERP system, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any discrepancies or delivery issues.
  • Vendor Management: Grow and maintain a network of reliable suppliers, negotiate pricing and delivery terms, and monitor vendor performance.
  • Supply Chain Analysis: Identify changes affecting supply, demand, and needed products and materials, and notify stakeholders of any potential delays.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of pricing, order confirmations, and other vendor-related issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve upon processes and offer solutions to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Team Collaboration: Serve as an active member of the project management team to influence purchasing decisions and provide support to other departments.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
  • Education: Some education in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite, previous experience with an ERP system, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Qualifications: Familiarity with components associated with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems, and ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Soft Skills: Superior communication and listening skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment.
