Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain processes to ensure the physical accountability of IT assets managed by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) both locally and nationwide.
- Implement barcoding systems to track all accountable and high-risk sensitive property.
- Assist in the setup of workstations with essential peripheral devices as necessary.
- Support annual inventory processes.
- Act as a local property officer (LPO) for the organization.
- Utilize Systems, Applications, and Products within Data Processing (SAP) for LPO duties.
- Provide comprehensive technical and analytical support during the acquisition process for government projects, in accordance with Management Directive (MD).
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP) for various components and customer initiatives.
- Evaluate user requirements and mission objectives to supply critical data for project site selection and prioritization based on real estate availability and engineering criteria.
- Prepare project sites for lease or easement execution, including facilitating site feasibility evaluations, obtaining necessary government approvals, and identifying environmental requirements.
- Maintain processes to ensure the physical accountability of IT assets managed by Customs and Border Protection (CBP) both locally and nationwide.
- Serve as a local property officer (LPO), overseeing barcoding and tracking of all accountable and high-risk sensitive property, assisting with inventory activities, and setting up workstations as required.
- Support annual inventory activities.
Qualifications
- A minimum of six years of demonstrated experience as a logistician supporting Major Acquisition Programs in an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team role.
- A Bachelor's degree or 10 years of additional work experience with an associate's degree may be substituted for a Master's Degree.
Clearance Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
