We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Secure Supply Chain Specialist to become part of our team. This role is available in various locations, including the DMV area. We encourage qualified candidates to explore this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate supply chain operations
- Identify and source materials, negotiate agreements, and maintain the security and integrity of the supply chain
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure prompt delivery and adherence to industry standards
- Engage in risk evaluation and mitigation strategies to safeguard the supply chain from potential threats
- Establish a robust defense for the procurement of essential materials
- Guide and mentor junior project staff, reporting to the Logistics Manager III
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
- For candidates without a degree, four (4) additional years of experience are required
- For those with an Associate's degree, two (2) additional years of experience are necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry-recognized certifications
Clearance Requirements:
- This position necessitates an active Top Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain stationary for over 50% of the time
- Effective communication skills to interact with peers and senior personnel
- Frequent operation of a computer and other office equipment
- Regular communication with colleagues, management, and clients, including delivering presentations
- Occasional mobility within the office to access resources
The anticipated compensation range for this role is $170,700-$283,800. Various factors may influence the final salary, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
