Develops schedules for employee assignments daily, and monitors daily activity for accuracy and timely completion using a balanced workload between employees.Coordinates the daily schedule for distribution and pickup of supplies and equipment to and from the clinical areas, and assists with the development of distribution schedules.Coordinates and monitors daily, the AIM and Pyxis scheduled refill process, the timely delivery of Pxyis critically low items, including routine STAT order requests.Audits par and stocking locations assigned to Supply Chain Services Distribution Specialist to ensure general maintenance, accuracy of supplies, reliability of staff, and effectively communicates necessary feedback to Distribution Specialist and Assistant Director. In addition, initiates corrective action if deficiencies exist.Assigns general maintenance schedules for clean work areas, including break room, storeroom, par and any additional departmental locations.Monitors equipment distribution, oversees proper cleaning and handling of equipment, including the rental bed process, as well as coordinating the borrowing and loaning of materials/equipment with local hospitals and vendors. Accountable for tracking equipment via the equipment log book and monitoring the Distribution Specialist for accurate use in order to locate equipment which has not been returned.Place daily restock orders with the Regional Distribution Center and monitor the put away process for supplies received.Assists with human resource management functions for designated areas of responsibility to include, but not limited to, orienting, training, retraining, scheduling, approving vacations, coaching, counseling, disciplining, and evaluating employees.Monitors interactions with internal and external staff in conjunction with the Inventory and Project Coordinator to maintain a proactive customer service focus between MMC and the clinical areas. Responds and reacts to customers emergency needs while continually coaching Distribution Specialists to be proactive within the Supply Chain.Answers telephones, providing full service assistance by answering questions, detailed problem solving, and providing needed assistance to the evening administrator, hospital, and departmental staff.On-call during off hours as scheduled to provide customer service advice to staff and customers. May be required to physically be onsite should a Departmental need arise during that scheduled on-call period.Exemplifies Commitment to Caring (C2C) standards in all activities.Assumes other duties and responsibilities that are appropriate to the position and area.
