Supply Chain Security Engineer

Position Overview:
You will oversee the Supply Chain Security division, focusing on policy implementation and enhancement across all lines of business within the Department of the Navy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate strategies and methodologies for project execution, ensuring alignment with objectives and timelines.
- Act as a representative for the Department of the Navy's Supply Chain Security initiatives to senior management and external stakeholders.
- Develop and manage schedules for the Supply Chain Security team's activities to guarantee timely delivery of services.

- Lead the CFIUS process, ensuring that the interests of the Department of the Navy are safeguarded and represented adequately.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of vendors, packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, while developing and monitoring risk mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with technical teams to understand hardware and software configurations, identify risks throughout all lifecycle phases, and safeguard Supply Chain Security data.

Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and meet federal employment suitability standards.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required, with random testing throughout employment.

Experience Requirements:
Your resume should reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 pay band or GS-13 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private sector. This experience should include:

  • Working as an engineer across various disciplines (mechanical, electronics, computer engineering) while managing technical requirements and leading projects related to security engineering and logistics support for weapons systems.

Educational Background:
Applicants must possess a professional engineering degree from an accredited institution, or meet other specified educational criteria related to engineering sciences.
