Join Ensemble Health Partners as a Patient Access Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Specialist to join our team at Ensemble Health Partners. As a Patient Access Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of patient information and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital
  • Assign accurate MRNs, complete medical necessity / compliance checks, and provide proper patient instructions
  • Collect insurance information, receive, and process physician orders
  • Utilize an overlay tool while providing excellent customer service as measured by Press Ganey
  • Operate the telephone switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and inter-office calls as applicable
  • Conduct audits of accounts and assure that all forms are completed accurately and timely to meet audit standards
  • Pre-register patient accounts prior to patient visits, including inbound and outbound calling to obtain demographic, insurance, and other patient information
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • CRCR Certification Required within 6 months of hire (Company Paid)
