Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage production teams to achieve high-quality output and meet production targets.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor new team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and control production costs, ensuring they are within budget and aligned with company goals.
- Identify and report any quality or production issues to management, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, including 6S, kaizen, and other lean events.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality assurance and process improvement.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
- Proficient in MS Office and other productivity software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
This position requires the ability to work in a manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to machinery and production processes. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
