Sales Coordinator Job Description

D.R. Horton, Inc., a leading homebuilder in the U.S., is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support the sales team in various aspects of sales operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist sales management in coordinating sales activities, including reporting, MLS listings, and monitoring outside lenders.
  • Update and distribute price and feature sheets, manage live listings on MLS, and establish phone service in new communities.
  • Collect and review sales teams' marketing plan submittals, prepare quarterly sales awards, and monitor contact management programs.
  • Manage VIP Realtor programs, oversee lists of VIPs, and perform monthly reports.
  • Facilitate marketing pushes for quick move-ins, research questions or needs from various parties, and maintain OneNote and sales files.
  • Schedule interviews for sales managers, coordinate shops, and maintain sales phone lists.
  • Deliver supplies to the field, order breakfast for sales meetings, and assist marketing with sales meeting setup and cleanup.
  • Track attendance at sales meetings, maintain sales vacation calendars, and verify vacation submissions in PeopleSoft.
  • Track sales team reach and traffic, cover models in cases of emergency absence, and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to one year of related experience and/or training
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to sit for the majority of an 8-hour workday and use hands and fingers to handle or feel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA/CFA or demonstrate candidacy
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
  • JD Edwards experience
