Position Overview
The Client Support Specialist serves as the initial contact for Health Initiative Programs. This role involves gathering participant information to confirm eligibility and provide details about programs for individuals seeking to quit tobacco.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts an intake assessment with participants to confirm eligibility for the program. Accurately records participant information in accordance with HIPAA regulations, departmental protocols, and specific client requirements.
- Maintains a warm, confident, and effective communication style with participants to ascertain program eligibility and encourage ongoing engagement. Aids participants in identifying their objectives, readiness for change, and supports their journey towards behavior modification.
- Participates in ongoing training, development, and professional enhancement, including quality assurance evaluations and feedback to ensure the application of the latest evidence-based methodologies, knowledge, and skills.
- Meets call center performance metrics and individual productivity standards.
