Group Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Home Manager to join our team at ResCare Community Living. As a Group Home Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our group homes, ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients. Key Responsibilities- Coach and mentor direct support staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
- Create a positive work environment and ensure the proper deployment of direct support staff.
- Address and correct health, safety, and environmental concerns, and report safety and maintenance concerns as needed.
- Ensure clinical and behavioral support objectives and goals are implemented and documented.
- Provide oversight of dietary supports, including menu planning and grocery shopping.
- Ensure protocols for communicating medical concerns are being followed.
- Ensure medication administration records are current and ensure medical appointments are scheduled and met.
- Monitor the budgets and finances of the person(s) served.
- Collect and report management information to ensure continuous evaluation and improvement of operations.
- Implement fiscal processes and loss control programs to ensure appropriate allocation of financial resources.
- Monitor employee schedules, Teletime reports, and Punch Correction sheets.
- High school diploma or GED required (Exceptions to educational requirements must comply with state law and regulations).
- Experience in providing services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities or related disorders preferred.
- Minimum age requirement is 18 years.
ResCare Community Living has four decades of experience in the disability services field, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disability.
Our community living services are provided in 27 states with several thousand programs and a comprehensive range of high-quality services, including: Community Living, Adult Host Homes for adults regardless of disability, Behavioral/Mental Health Support, In-home Pharmacy Solutions, Telecare and Remote Support, Supported Employment and Training Programs, and Day programs.
