About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) is a key member of our healthcare team, providing expert consultation and guidance to ensure the highest quality patient care. As a CNS, you will have the opportunity to work in a specialty area, leveraging your expertise to drive positive clinical outcomes and improve healthcare delivery systems.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation to all care providers
  • Implement improvements in healthcare delivery systems
  • Develop and implement educational programs for nursing caregivers
  • Support critical clinical and quality improvement work across various clinical specialties
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC)
  • Ph.D. from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC)
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's, DNP, or Ph.D. clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC)
  • Equivalent coursework and experience will be considered
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years registered nursing experience in area of specialty
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current certification as a CNS
  • Current certification in area of specialty
  • 2 years clinical leadership responsibility
