Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert consultation to all care providers and implementing improvements in healthcare delivery systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert consultation to all care providers
  • Implement improvements in healthcare delivery systems
  • Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff
  • Conduct research and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC)
  • Currently enrolled in a Master's, DNP, or Ph.D. clinical nurse specialist program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate of Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accreditation Commission (NLNAC)
  • Equivalent coursework and experience will be considered
  • Washington Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • 3 years registered nursing experience in area of specialty
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current certification as a CNS
  • Current certification in area of specialty
  • 2 years clinical leadership responsibility
