Healthcare Consultant

CBIZ is seeking a skilled Healthcare Consultant to join our team. As a Healthcare Consultant, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of consulting services within our Strategy and Emerging Initiatives (SEI) practice area. This position offers an opportunity to engage in impactful projects that improve public sector healthcare delivery, with a focus on Medicaid and behavioral health programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of various project tasks, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Conduct research on healthcare policies, industry trends, and best practices. Analyze data to support the development of insights and recommendations for clients.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, contributing to discussions and providing support in addressing client needs and queries.
- Prepare project documentation, including meeting notes, status reports, and client deliverables. Ensure all materials are of high quality and reflect the firm's standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, business, or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Internship or equivalent working experience in health care or related field preferred; 3-4 years of experience in healthcare consulting or a related field, with a focus on public sector healthcare strongly preferred.
- Significant ability to conduct social science research and produce well-written findings, conclusions, and sound evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in quantitative and qualitative data collection methods and analysis. Proficiency in MS Excel and other analytical tools is required.
