Your Responsibilities:
The Admissions Consultant will support the enrollment initiatives of Arizona College by providing admissions information to prospective or newly admitted students, creating communication materials, and representing the College. This role involves significant interaction with prospective or newly admitted students.
Daily Responsibilities Include:
- Engaging with prospective students, parents, and the community through various communication channels.
- Welcoming prospective students by processing applications, interviewing candidates, arranging campus tours, and conducting follow-up activities.
- Maintaining recruitment operations by adhering to policies and procedures and reporting necessary changes.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Developing and maintaining professional relationships with a diverse range of individuals.
- Advising students and families on educational opportunities, admission requirements, and relevant policies.
- Providing thorough and caring assistance to each lead and inquiry.
- Conducting effective phone presentations and interviews with candidates.
- Enhancing enrollment rates through diligent follow-up with prospective students.
- Collaborating to provide data for reporting and institutional effectiveness.
- Maintaining the integrity of the student database for accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (an Associate's Degree from an accredited institution is preferred).
- 1 to 3 years of experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing, or recruitment.
- A high degree of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and a warm demeanor towards potential and current students.
- Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse community.
- Knowledge of college admissions processes and student recruitment and retention issues.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems and databases.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement both short- and long-term goals.
