We are currently seeking a full-time Admissions Coordinator to join our dedicated team.
Role ResponsibilitiesThe Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing the admissions process for our residential facilities. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Admissions Manager to ensure optimal occupancy levels for our treatment programs.
- Assisting in the management of the services waitlist and providing regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Preparing prospective clients for their admission and intake processes, coordinating schedules with both clients and operational staff.
- Transporting clients as necessary.
- Acting as a liaison between First Step House and various funding sources, community organizations, and potential clients.
- Engaging in outreach efforts to foster relationships with existing and new referral sources.
- Receiving and processing referrals from multiple channels, including funding providers and self-referrals.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with referrals and their representatives, while documenting referral activity and coordinating admission logistics.
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred experience in the mental health or substance abuse sectors.
- Familiarity with the local behavioral health provider network is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license is required.
We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $42,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
