Job Summary

THIS POSITION IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting campus tours, managing recruitment supplies and inventory, and assisting with on-campus recruitment activities. You will provide exceptional customer service to all visitors by maintaining a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor. Customer service duties include greeting guests, maintaining a positive attitude, and possessing knowledge of the CSU campus and its programs, as well as admissions requirements.

It is essential to represent Clayton State University professionally by adhering to appropriate attire, grooming standards, and communication skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, along with a solid work ethic, are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct walking campus tours and golf cart tours (valid Driver's License required).
  • Answer inbound calls, transfer calls appropriately, and make outbound calls to prospective visitors.
  • Provide information and direct guests to the appropriate locations.
  • Maintain the office lobby area and assist recruiters with event preparations, including setup and breakdown.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as data entry, room reservations, correspondence, filing, and mail handling.
  • Contribute as a responsible team member by sharing improvement suggestions and completing assigned tasks.
  • Occasionally move materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

· Must be a current Clayton State University student.

· Must be eligible for Federal Work Study.

· Minimum GPA of 2.5 required.

· Must maintain good academic and judicial standing with the university.

· Availability to work as per the schedule.

· One year of related experience or equivalent education and experience.

· Ability to take direction and demonstrate flexibility.

· Experience with data entry is essential.

· Excellent communication skills are required.

· Strong time management and prioritization skills are necessary.

· Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are critical.

· Must exhibit honesty and integrity.
