Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a member of our team, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
- Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration and treatment plans
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure well-coordinated patient care, including communication with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date required
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at time of hire
- 1-2 years of Pediatric CVICU RN experience
- CVICU RN experience
- BSN
