High-Powered Sales Executive

We're seeking a highly skilled Field Sales Representative to join our team in Maryland and Pennsylvania. As a Field Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for driving revenue and delivering exceptional service to assigned accounts. This role requires extensive travel, creating strong partnerships with retailers and prioritizing time with key accounts. You'll be accountable for meeting sales targets and driving revenue while improving the selling experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Account Management & Sales Excellence
- Develop and execute marketplace strategies aligned with our commercial strategy & brand values
- Build relationships with existing dealers, including on-the-road visits and overnight stays
- Plan, forecast, and meet financial targets on an annual and quarterly basis
- Develop account assortments based on strategic direction and available space
- Understand account order books and inventory levels
- Training, Demonstrations & Events
- Train shop employees on grills, techniques, merchandising best practices, and how to sell, service and represent us at retail
- Prepare and deliver multiple kinds of events to fuel our brand
- Attend and support select trade events on an ad-hoc basis
- Brand Elevation, Merchandising, Fixtures & POP
- Develop marketing and coop plans to enhance our brand experience at retail
- Become a merchandising expert, use provided POP and Fixtures, and define the 'Traeger Experience'
- Marketplace Development & Admin
- Stay up-to-date on local consumer & competitor trends
- Leverage insights to identify incremental distribution opportunities and new storytelling angles
We require a minimum of 1+ years' experience in account management or sales, a Bachelor's degree or similar experience, strong communication skills, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM experience. Proven track record in meeting sales targets and MS Office proficiency are also necessary. A detailed-oriented individual with a high level of organization is required for this role.
