Job SummaryAs a Global Trade Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth through business development initiatives, sales strategies, and relationship management. This position requires a results-driven professional with expertise in international sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities through research, prospecting, and client engagement.
- BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND PARTNERS TO EXPAND OUR PRESENCE IN THE MARKET.
- CLOSE NEW BUSINESS DEALS AND ONBOARD NEW CLIENTS EFFECTIVELY.
- ELEVATE OUR MARKET SHARE BY DEVELOPING CUSTOMIZED SOLUTIONS THAT MEET CLIENT NEEDS.
- Client Management:
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- ADDRESS AND RESOLVE ANY SALES OR DELIVERY ISSUES PROMPTLY.
- MANAGE CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS THROUGH EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION, LEVERAGING ESTABLISHED TOOLS TO EXCEED TARGETS AND EXPECTATIONS.
- PROVIDE WEEKLY FOLLOW-UPS WITH NEW CLIENTS POST-FIRST SHIPMENT TO ENSURE SATISFACTION.
- Sales Administration:
- Collaborate with the Pricing team to develop competitive pricing strategies and rate quotes.
- MONITOR AND MAINTAIN CLIENTS' CREDIT LINES IN ACCORDANCE WITH COMPANY GUIDELINES.
- REGULARLY UPDATE THE CRM SYSTEM AND PROVIDE MONTHLY BUDGET REVIEWS FOR MANAGEMENT.
- ENSURE ALL CLIENT CONTRACTS ARE COMMUNICATED EFFECTIVELY AND TIMELY TO RELEVANT PARTIES.
- Supplier & Contract Management:
- ENSURE CUSTOMER REQUESTS RELATED TO COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES ARE COMPLETED PROMPTLY AND AT THE HIGHEST SERVICE LEVEL.
- ADHERE TO CLIENT SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENTS AND MAINTAIN PROFESSIONALISM IN ALL CLIENT INTERACTIONS, INCLUDING ENTERTAINMENT ACTIVITIES WHEN REQUIRED.
- MINIMUM OF 3+ YEARS OF INTERNATIONAL SALES EXPERIENCE IN FREIGHT FORWARDING.
- PROVEN ABILITY TO GROW SALES AND BRING NEW CLIENTS INTO THE BUSINESS (A BOOK OF BUSINESS IS A PLUS).
- STRONG WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS, WITH THE ABILITY TO EFFECTIVELY INTERACT WITH CLIENTS AND INTERNAL TEAMS.
- HIGH LEVEL OF ORGANIZATION AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
- PROFICIENCY WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE SUITE AND A STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF CRM SYSTEMS.
- CONFIDENCE IN THE ABILITY TO BRING IN NEW CLIENTS, WITH NO NON-COMPETE RESTRICTIONS.
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year. We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
