Role Overview
The Video Surveillance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring video feeds from security cameras to detect and report incidents. This role requires the ability to review and discern appropriate actions based on video footage, as well as monitor alarms to ensure they are functioning properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor video feeds from security cameras to detect and report incidents
- Review and discern appropriate actions based on video footage
- Monitor alarms to ensure they are functioning properly
- Handle and resolve inquiries from customers and law enforcement regarding dispatch
- Answer and follow-up on video alarm signals
- Record all necessary information on accounts pertaining to calls and alarms received
- Acknowledge, review, and load alarm videos and images via our automation system
- Initiate outbound calls to customers, law enforcement agencies, and emergency contacts
- Provide basic support to all customers
- Respond to questions from customers regarding alarms and procedures
- Maintain acceptable customer service evaluations
- Perform other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Customer service experience required
- Ability to follow directives and specific procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions and resolutions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Good communication skills required
- Basic data entry and retrieval skills required
Work Requirements
- Ability to work flexible days and hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts
- Shifts - 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm and 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
- Onsite position
