The role of Morning Culinary Specialist involves the preparation and cooking of breakfast offerings across our various dining establishments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Guaranteeing the highest quality of food served
  • Adhering to standard portion sizes, cooking techniques, and kitchen protocols
  • Restocking and managing food supplies at cooking stations
  • Measuring and preparing food according to established recipes
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace
  • Preparing items for various cooking methods such as broiling, grilling, and sautéing
  • Ensuring proper presentation and garnishing of dishes
  • Correctly handling, storing, and rotating food products
  • Completing tasks within designated time frames
  • Monitoring and reporting food waste
  • Assisting with food preparation during slower periods
  • Properly opening and closing the kitchen, following established checklists
  • Cooking items based on orders from the point-of-sale system
  • Assisting with dishwashing, recycling, cleaning, and other projects
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing suggestions for improvement
  • Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of culinary experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic mathematical abilities
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and precision
  • Capability to prioritize, organize, and complete tasks
  • Ability to remain composed and resolve issues with sound judgment
  • Proficiency in working under pressure and managing multiple tasks
