Position: Culinary Specialist for Events
Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, an esteemed double Forbes Five-Star establishment, is in search of a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team for various catered occasions, including weddings, charitable events, corporate gatherings, and special celebrations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the preparation of both hot and cold dishes that adhere to our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and artistically garnish all dishes according to menu guidelines.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of food products and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with management, chefs, and service personnel to meet guest expectations.
- Manage food requisitions to ensure sufficient inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functionality of kitchen equipment.
- Follow company protocols for safe food handling and storage.
- Assist the Chef as required.
A culinary degree and experience in a luxury hospitality environment are preferred. The ideal candidate should thrive in a collaborative setting and possess the ability to perform well under pressure.
