Our property spans 25 oceanfront acres and features 217 rooms and suites, alongside five distinct dining venues, a private beach, a full-service spa, and an 8-acre farm that supplies fresh ingredients.

The role of the Breakfast Cook is vital in crafting delicious breakfast offerings for our various dining establishments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining the highest quality standards for all dishes prepared
  • Adhering to established portion sizes, cooking techniques, and kitchen protocols
  • Ensuring adequate food supplies at cooking stations
  • Portioning ingredients according to specified recipes
  • Upholding cleanliness and sanitation in the work area
  • Preparing food items for various cooking methods such as broiling, grilling, and sautéing
  • Executing proper plate presentation and garnishing
  • Managing food storage and rotation effectively
  • Completing tasks within designated time frames
  • Monitoring and reporting food waste
  • Assisting with food preparation during quieter periods
  • Following kitchen opening and closing procedures diligently
  • Cooking items based on orders from the point-of-sale system
  • Contributing to dishwashing, recycling, and general cleaning efforts
  • Participating in team meetings and providing constructive feedback
  • Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a culinary role
  • High school diploma or equivalent vocational training
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Basic mathematical abilities
  • Strong attention to detail, speed, and precision
  • Capability to prioritize, organize, and execute tasks efficiently
  • Ability to remain composed and solve problems judiciously
  • Proficient in multitasking and working under pressure
  • A collaborative team player
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace
  • Ability to follow and modify recipes as needed
  • Good knife skills and seasoning techniques
  • Adherence to all operational processes
