Position Overview:
Health Advocates Network is actively seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide services in various settings. This role is designed for professionals who are dedicated to enhancing communication abilities in individuals with speech and language challenges.

Compensation:
Competitive pay rate of $95 per hour, classified as a 1099 position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct standardized assessments and screenings to identify individuals with communication disorders.
  • Evaluate communication skills, including articulation, fluency, and language comprehension, to determine eligibility for services and develop tailored treatment recommendations.
  • Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to ensure comprehensive support for individuals with communication needs.
  • Consult with various stakeholders to design and implement effective speech and language therapy plans.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings related to eligible individuals, presenting evaluation findings and treatment strategies.
  • Create and implement therapeutic strategies aimed at improving communicative abilities and recommending assistive technologies.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educational resources to address communication disorders in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise and mentor Speech Paraprofessionals to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed about best practices and emerging techniques in the field.
  • Provide instruction on the use of communication technologies to enhance educational outcomes for affected individuals.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage documentation related to treatment plans and progress reports.
  • Participate in professional meetings and training sessions to share insights and gather information.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to deliver therapy and support services.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to track progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Research and evaluate resources and methods to optimize therapeutic approaches for individuals.
  • Respond to inquiries from parents, educators, and other professionals regarding communication services.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for therapy sessions.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an accredited provider.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication with colleagues and clients.
