Role Summary: You will play a key role in the design and management of roadway initiatives for public sector clients, including municipal and state agencies. Your responsibilities will encompass the preparation, interpretation, and evaluation of construction documents and technical specifications, utilizing advanced design software tools. Specific duties will include conducting design calculations, generating quantity and cost assessments, developing design criteria, and preparing detailed plans. You will gain valuable industry experience by participating in client discussions and documenting meeting outcomes. This position is primarily based in our offices, with the flexibility to work remotely from your home office in the metropolitan area for up to two days a week.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a U.S. bachelor's degree in civil engineering and have a minimum of one year of experience in project management, transportation engineering, or as a graduate engineer.

The role also requires at least one year of proficiency in the following areas:

  • Preparation, interpretation, and evaluation of construction documents and technical specifications
  • Utilization of design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with design tools like MicroStation
  • Development of engineering estimates through comprehensive data analysis
  • Application of design standards in project execution
  • Coordination of project activities among junior engineers

A valid driver's license is required or the ability to obtain one. This position allows for a hybrid work model, combining office and remote work options.
