Role Summary:
The Retail and Arcade Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that operational standards are upheld while fostering a safe, profitable, and enjoyable environment for guests and team members alike. This position involves training, guiding, and managing a team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all retail and arcade locations.
- Enforce company policies regarding uniform standards, grooming, and attendance.
- Facilitate effective communication among managers, coordinators, supervisors, and team members.
- Ensure timely opening and closing of all locations, supervising team members in their daily responsibilities and prioritizing tasks.
- Assist in the evaluation, training, and motivation of team members.
- Collaborate with management to address team member concerns and issues.
- Maintain orderly queue lines and promote theft prevention measures.
- Conduct weekly inventory assessments.
- Review team performance and provide constructive feedback and support as needed.
- Monitor facility cleanliness and safety conditions.
- Encourage teamwork and a positive work environment among all staff.
- Provide a comprehensive overview of daily responsibilities related to retail and arcade operations.
- Manage opening and closing procedures specific to retail and arcade functions.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels of merchandise and supplies to meet daily operational needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a hospitality or customer service role.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Outgoing, friendly, and honest demeanor.
- Basic mathematical skills required.
- Experience interacting in a diverse, multicultural environment.
- Able to work in various weather conditions.
- Capability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
- Familiarity with computer operations and software applications.
- Experience in guest services with a strong ability to lead and supervise a team.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
