Job Title: Director of Billing Services

A Path of Care Management Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Billing Services to lead our corporate billing department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all billing is submitted and collected for our home health and hospice companies.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the corporate billing department to ensure all billing is submitted and collected.
  • Oversee the billing department, including monitoring claims submissions, troubleshooting billing issues, and reviewing denials and adjustments.
  • Monitor collections and manage the customer service department.
  • Set up payor contracts, credentialing, and re-credentialing for in-network payors.
  • Conduct staff meetings, review billing tasks and workflow, and perform end-of-the-month reconciliation.
  • Stay compliant with new billing regulations and implement new processes as needed.
Requirements
  • College degree required.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Commercial health insurance billing or finance.
  • Home health and hospice experience preferred.
  • At least 5 years of management experience.
  • Ability to function independently and use excellent judgment for decision-making and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and payor websites.
