Store Director

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Director to lead our retail store team at Express, Inc. As a Store Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement
• Lead and manage a team of store associates to ensure excellent customer service and a positive store experience
• Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with the store team to achieve sales goals and objectives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention
• Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Recruit, train, and develop store associates to ensure a high-performing team

Requirements

• Three to five years of previous store management experience, including responsibility for annual sales volume of $3 million plus
• Proven ability to increase sales and store profitability
• Proven ability to network, recruit, interview, train, develop, and promote associates
• Ability to travel periodically, as needed for meetings
• Ability to move medium to large items weighing up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and supervisors
• Demonstrated sales accountability
• Collaborative, respectful team member
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once
