Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service.

  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new ingredients, and cooking techniques to continuously improve menu offerings and kitchen operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a brewery or restaurant setting.
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean principles and Appreciative Inquiry.
  • Knowledge of the Craft Beer industry and local food trends.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
