Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Manager - Corporate Partnerships to join our team at Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and implement strategic partnerships with corporate entities to drive fundraising and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate partnerships strategy to drive fundraising and community engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, identifying opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Research and identify new corporate partners, developing prospect lists and proposals to secure funding and support.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Development, Vice President of Development, and Board of Directors to leverage existing connections and networks.
- Manage all aspects of relationships with corporate partners, including contract deliverables, project timelines, and marketing/event calendars.
- Develop and implement customized stewardship plans to add value, increase opportunities, and broaden relationships with corporate partners.
- Proactively handle problems that may prevent success and flawless execution, keeping stakeholders informed as necessary.
- Assist the Senior Director of Development with assigned accounts in meeting the annual fundraising goal.
- Attend and lead/present at external customer meetings and internal meetings to aid business development and successful account execution.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Minimum of five years' work experience in a non-profit organization, with emphasis on volunteer programs and activities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with good public presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work well with all types of people.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, Board members, volunteers, community groups, and other related agencies.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks and ability to strategically grow partnerships.
- Demonstrated skills in persuasion and influence, project management, and time management.
- High standards of ethics and integrity.
