About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operational Resilience Strategist to join our team at MUFG Americas. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and assessing the Operational Resilience Second Line of Defense (SLOD) Program, tools, and methodologies in line with regulatory requirements to enable the achievement of our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain an overarching operational resilience policy.
  • Build awareness and understanding of Operational Resilience across the organization.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop the methodology to enable identification of critical operations.
  • Establish and manage processes to monitor resilience critical operations.
  • Escalate non-compliance or risk appetite breaches through established escalation paths.
Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience in operational resilience, operational risk, or business continuity risk management.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and core competencies across key areas of Operational Resilience.
  • Previous experience working in the financial services sector.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in driving and shaping program strategy, as well as the implementation of program uplift and change.
  • Previous experience working in a regulatory change program.
