Key Responsibilities:
The Commercial Banking Assistant II plays a vital role in collaborating with Client Relationship Managers (CRMs), corporate personnel, and Portfolio Managers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating the loan process for new loan production.
  • Coordinating correspondence with legal representatives and title companies regarding pending and closing loans.
  • Providing exceptional customer service in collaboration with Treasury Services Representatives, addressing client inquiries related to banking accounts and treasury services.
  • Assisting the commercial credit department by relaying information on behalf of CRMs and processing small business and commercial credit applications for approval.
  • Focusing on the comprehensive onboarding of banking relationships for clients, encompassing both deposit and loan services while fostering positive and professional customer interactions.
  • Acting as a liaison for administrative functions related to commercial relationships.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of two years of banking experience or equivalent educational background.
  • A solid understanding of Treasury Services.
  • Knowledge of relationship management principles.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, capable of delivering effective presentations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in utilizing computer technology and software applications relevant to the role.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, including occasional overnight trips.
