Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, processing, and dispensing
  • Process prescriptions, including verifying patient information and medication orders
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medication lists and allergy information
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications and supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operation of the pharmacy
Requirements
  • Valid and active Pharmacy Tech licensure in the state of employment
  • Basic math and typing skills, with attention to detail and ability to read and follow written instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a related healthcare role
  • Knowledge of automated dispensing systems and computerized pharmacy systems
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team
Work Environment

The Pharmacy Technician II will work in a fast-paced pharmacy environment, with frequent interaction with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
