POSITION SUMMARY: The role involves the handling and processing of incoming waste in accordance with established protocols. You will ensure the cleanliness and organization of the workspace while adhering to safety standards.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of waste containers
  • Maintain a clean unloading area
  • Inspect containers for damage and cleanliness
  • Operate equipment for cleaning and processing waste containers
  • Unload waste materials from transport vehicles and place them on designated conveyors
  • Track and document the quantity of waste processed
  • Utilize weighing stations for accurate billing
  • Conduct general housekeeping tasks within the facility

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Capacity to lift heavy loads as required
  • Proficient in pushing and pulling substantial weights
  • Strong attention to detail is essential
  • Reliable transportation is necessary
