Position Objective:
Deliver outstanding customer service to our patrons and donors while ensuring a tidy and organized shopping environment. Accurately process each transaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the dress code at all times.
- Efficiently manage the cash drawer, including opening, closing, and balancing in accordance with established procedures.
- Gain proficiency in the Point of Sale system to ensure effective and efficient sales transactions within the first three months of employment.
- Keep the cash register area and store clean and organized, including tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and straightening.
- Exhibit a friendly demeanor, welcoming customers and offering assistance as needed.
- Adhere to all organizational policies regarding merchandise sales.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-stocked and assist in meeting daily production goals.
- Availability for a flexible work schedule is required.

Minimum Qualifications:
The qualifications listed below represent the minimum education, experience, certifications, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
- Education: High School Diploma or currently pursuing.

Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding English for effective communication with customers, management, and colleagues.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with the Point of Sale system and other relevant software.
- Ability to provide accurate change to customers.

- Regularly required to stand, use hands, and communicate effectively.
- Frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Environment:
This position is situated in a retail environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The setting may be dusty and subject to temperature changes based on the weather. Employees may be exposed to outdoor conditions. This role may require weekend and evening hours.
