OVERVIEW

The Facility Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective upkeep and repair of all mechanical systems within the organization, adhering to the standards set forth by Infor.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Oversee the maintenance of mechanical and aesthetic components in workspaces and communal areas.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition using industry best practices.
  • Apply technical skills to maintain the facility, utilizing expertise in various trades.
  • Leverage available resources to efficiently complete daily responsibilities.
  • Adopt a proactive approach in employing best practices for the construction and repair of assigned tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Complete assigned tasks to established quality benchmarks, within designated timelines, utilizing provided tools and materials.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required.

RESPONSIBILITY:
This position does not entail supervisory duties. The team member is accountable for safeguarding the assets of Infor.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/

TRAINING:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required; candidates should possess four (4) years of relevant experience and/or training, or a comparable combination of education and experience.


COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Ability to read, write, and understand straightforward instructions, brief correspondence, and memos.

Capability to effectively communicate information in individual and small group settings to clients, colleagues, and other team members.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division across various units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

Ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret graphical data.



REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense reasoning to execute detailed but uncomplicated written or verbal instructions.

Capacity to interpret a wide range of technical instructions in mathematical or diagrammatic form and to manage multiple abstract and concrete variables.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Must qualify to obtain and maintain a relevant gaming license.
  • Valid driver's license.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Proficient in the use and identification of all maintenance tools.
  • Effective communication with all team members and management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Self-motivated and resourceful individual.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a dynamic and diverse work environment.
  • Capable of following directions and completing assigned tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
