Utility Services Coordinator

Job Summary

The Utility Services Coordinator will work with national suppliers to manage utility services for properties, including billing, waste, telecom, and WiFi. This role is responsible for onboarding new suppliers and coordinating closure of accounts when properties are sold or no longer managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the onboarding and setup of utility billing and invoice processing for national supplier accounts.
  • Promote the efficiency and convenience of the utility services program to clients.
  • Coordinate closure of utility supplier services when properties are sold or no longer managed.
  • Facilitate training for property and corporate associates on utility services programs.
  • Act as a liaison for internal teams on utility supplier integrations and ongoing service issues.
  • Assist in managing Wi-Fi, waste, telecom, emergency phone services, and other utility programs.
  • Process past due accounts payable with national utility suppliers to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate with supplier representatives on payment status and resolve pre-lien issues.
  • Administer tracking and reporting metrics for participating suppliers in the utility services program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to two years of property management experience preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in Salesforce or equivalent system preferred.
  • Utility billing management experience in multi-family housing preferred.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain management concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed oriented and desire to learn.

Work Environment

Typically normal business hours. Exposure to environment typically found in an office building.
