Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Services Coordinator to join our team at Avenue5 Residential. This role is responsible for assisting in the onboarding of national utility supplier accounts for new and existing properties, as well as coordinating closure of such accounts when properties are sold or no longer managed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the onboarding and setup of utility billing and invoice processing for national utility supplier accounts for new properties.
  • Promote the efficiency and convenience of the utility services program to current and potential clients.
  • Coordinate closure of utility supplier services when properties are sold or no longer managed.
  • Facilitate training for property and corporate associates for all utility services programs.
  • Act as a liaison for internal teams related to utility supplier integrations and ongoing service issues.
  • Assist in the management of Wi-Fi, waste, telecom, emergency phone services, and other utility programs.
  • Process past due accounts payable with national utility suppliers to ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate with supplier representatives on payment status and work to resolve pre-lien issues.
  • Administer tracking and reporting metrics for participating suppliers in the utility services program.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One to two years of property management experience preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or sourcing preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in Yardi Voyager or equivalent system preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in Salesforce or equivalent system preferred.
  • Utility billing management experience in multi-family housing preferred.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain management concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detailed oriented and desire to learn.
Working Conditions

This role typically works normal business hours and is based in an office environment. The successful candidate will be required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and stoop for extended periods. They will also be required to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, both verbally and in writing.
